There are Republican voters who are decent people but simply out of touch with what the party has become. Those who have risen to the rank of delegate in the party aren’t those voters.
Today’s delegates know they are coming to Milwaukee to take women’s rights, deny Black history, be cruel to transgender kids, and free the fossil fuel industry from any regulation that would stand in the way of them destroying our planet’s environment.
Plus, they all know that January 6 was real and it was their party’s leaders who led it and they are just fine with that. These people would end our democracy given the chance. We can’t give them that chance.
