Thank you, thank you, thank you. Just when we needed you most you buried us in orders. Now we are trying to dig out.

I’m still trying to sort out what the last couple weeks have meant for us, or will mean for us, or whatever this all is, I don’t even know.

But what I do know is, in the wake of Vice President Harris’s visit to our Pittsburgh store and the condemnation we received for that from all of the right, right up to the very top of the Republican party, I asked for your help. Your response was beyond my imagination. You have my immense thanks.

And maybe seeing what was happening and how many of you were coming to our aid I should have tried to calm the overwhelming response, and taken down the Facebook post, and skipped the offer-ending email Sunday evening. But if I’m being completely honest here I kind of needed that overwhelming response.

All that hate. All that anger. I’ve been at this long enough to know that you can’t let that get to you, but as much as you tell that to yourself, on some level it does get to you.

Since we put up our About Republicans on our website two years ago it has been a struggle and we’ve had to be extra creative to keep at break even in the face of the Republican boycott it brought us. And that was just a normal-level Republican boycott without prime time Fox News and Donald Trump himself leading the charge.

So in the face of it all I asked for your help. Your response left me with no doubt that you have our back. You are my heroes. You have reassured me we are on the right path. But in all of this, in just two days' time you sent us six weeks worth of orders. HOORAY! But oh my we now have a lot of work to do.

I get emails. In response to all those asking: How are you doing? The answer is: So much better now, thanks!

But I do have to tell you, for the next two-three weeks we are going to be really-really behind on getting orders out the door. I am so sorry for this, but probably not as sorry as I should be because your tidal wave of support just made me really happy. Relieved, too. I needed that. Thanks.

I understand some of you are going to need to cancel orders because a two-three week delay just won’t work for you. Please don’t feel bad about needing to do this. This is my fault, not anyone else’s.
