10,000+ free bags of Twilight Revolution to good homes.

After our downtown Milwaukee store got Trump graffitied we did a Facebook post showing it and one person commented that it was their favorite Penzeys store and they would gladly stand out front of it during the convention handing out bags of our spices. It quickly became the top comment with 1,600 likes and loves and dozens and dozens saying: I want to do that too please!

It’s taken us a bit, but we do now have better than ten thousand bags of the Twilight’s Last Gleaming Special Edition trial bags of our Penzeys Revolution for giving away. Right outside our door is a good spot, but we are looking to expand that reach as well.

If you have an event or will be in a place in the greater Milwaukee area that would be good for giving away 10-100, maybe more, Twilight Revolution bags this weekend, during the convention, or even next weekend, we need to hear from you. Right now the bags are at our Tosa warehouse and store. It’s possible by early next week we could get them to other Milwaukee area stores as well.

If you see the value in sharing these bags and have the right spot for doing it, please email us the details at [email protected]. Hard to say what sort of response we will get for this. Maybe just a few and we will be able to get everyone with a good plan all they need. Or maybe we get overwhelmed and we will end up picking recipients out of a hat or something. We will see.

Not everybody opens every email or is even on our email list. With time being pressing, if you know of someone who should know about this offer please forward this email to them. The ten thousand plus bags are a sure thing. We should have more bag material arriving Monday and, if all goes well, be able to double or triple this number by mid week.

And we did send this email to people well beyond the Milwaukee area, but we wanted to let you know what we are up to. Soon we will be pitching the idea that we are doing good, but we could do more good with more help from you.

On one hand these bags are such a small thing, but they do powerful things. The Republicans are coming to Milwaukee to “Crown” Donald Trump. Their platform calls for ending our democracy and destroying the environment. They’ve already turned back the clock fifty years on women’s rights and they have no plans to stop there.

Too many have gone silent in the face of all this. These bags start conversations. They create happiness around the dinner table. It’s a seasoning and a message anyone can just sprinkle on, but then it bakes in. They would love to have you believe resistance is futile. These bags are the proof everyone needs that resistance is never futile.
